WELCOME TO THE DEPTH OF A RAINFOREST Deforestation Overview This is a UDL project entitled Deforestation that follows the perimiters of the UDL Principle III by providing multiple means for students to engage in as they learn. The effects presented are video animation, and informative games filled with inquiry-base learning activities that retain the learners’ interest. There are a variety of sources used to influence individual variation in affect including neurology, culture, personal relevance, subjectivity, and background knowledge, along with a variety of other factors. Learners who prefer working alone are highly engaged by spontaneity and novelty as they enjoy an adventurous games from which they learn to identifying species, that lives and/or agricultural foods grown in the rainforest. This segment of the UDL Principle III project also provided a website that will engage the ESL learner.
